Bio : Michelle Palmer is one of the UK's most outstanding classical crossover soprano's having recently recorded her debut EP Serenity with world renowned executive producer Chris Craker - entering the classical album charts at number two. Her music is regularly played on international radio stations and is regularly interviewed.
Her classical training began in 1996 at De Montfort University in leicester when she joined the chorus and has her first performance as a soprano was with Schidlof Quartet. During this time Michelle was noted by music producer Wayne Allen and consequently was developed as a recording artist having meetings with EMI recording studios in London.
Over time Michelle returned to her classical roots and has since performed in many theatres such as Royal Northern College of Music, The Olympia, London, Baths Hall, Centenary Pavillion, working with established artists such as Peter Andre, Collabro, Masquerade String Quartet (toured with Russell Watson), Ross Leadbeater (Only Men Aloud).
Michelle will be recording a single for a Leicester based charity - 'Singing for Happiness' where for the first time other classical crossover artists will be united together singing 'World in Union'. Michelle's next exciting chapter will be recording her debut album including her own original songs.
