Bio : Class Reunion is an original band that not only plays original songs but cover songs as well. We are a 3-piece band that plays music as if we came from the 1960s, 70s, and 80s. We have a very classic, nostalgic sound but our sound is pretty modern, too. If you like the Beatles, Elvis, Billy Joel, and Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers (and a few others), then you'll love us.
Class Reunion was formed by three ex-high school classmates (hence the name): Mark L. Sánchez (aka Shaggy Docious)-who was in the band Illinoise Circle w/George Getner-on vocals/guitar (bass/drums/percussion), Jonathan Demas (aka JAD)-who was in Windy City Six and currently has JAD’s Music Project-on vocals/bass (guitar/percussion) and Dave Cheesman (sorry, no stage name as of yet)-also from Windy City Six-on drums (percussion).
Although, Mark is the principle songwriter (“How Does a Boy,” “Silly Jibaro Love Song,” “Day” w/George [Getner], “It’s a Saturday Night” w/George, and “Life Goes” w/George, Jon also writes (“Just Diddlin’,” “Margarita” w/Mark, “Song for Thee” w/Mark, “Dad,” and “Say Goodbye to Me” w/Mark).
Currently, Class Reunion is working on “Songs from the Attic,” a new album, which will be recorded in a professional studio, to celebrate their 10th Anniversary (May 9, 2019) as a band. We hope that you are enjoying what we do, even though we aren’t as famous (were not famous, at all) as we’d like to be. So, keep listening to our songs, keep watching our videos, and maybe someday, we will be famous.
We have songs on reverbnation.com/classreunion1 and youtube.com/classreunion1 (at times you may have to type SHAGGY DOCIOUS in the search box-I don’t know why-to see some of our videos right away).
God bless, and keeping on rocking.
