Bio : Ullas Revankar hails from a Kannada family in Ilkal city ˇˇof Karnataka state of India. Born on 18th of May, 1995 in Sirsi, Karnataka to a family where art and music are nurtured, Ullas received nourishment in art and culture from childhood. Just as the raindrops fall on the soil, making it fertile, Revankar family in the same way shed its valuable influence on all the six siblings of Ullas. Thus, beside his daily school studies, Ullas gradually got interested in music from childhood.ˇˇ
ˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇ Listening to music and being highly inspired by some of the eminent sitar players, namely Budhaditya Mukherjee, Niladri Kumar, Anupama Bhagwat and others, Ullas solemnly resolved to learn sitar and proceed in the long run with music. His unfathomable attraction and unquenchable thirst for learning Indian Classical Music grew on and on.

Nagnoor Sir of the Imdadkhani Gharana style of sitar rendition, but could not continue receiving lessons from him after two years, owing to his untimely demise. Thereafter, he started learning from Gurunat Pattar Sir and is presently under his tutelage.ˇˇ
ˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇ Being highly devoted to his passion, Ullas struggled a lot to figure out time for practice after hard work in his own gold cutting business. Practising for long hours daily and receiving lessons correctly, he excelled in his performance within a very short span of time. Today, he is a well noted young artist of Ilkal city of Karnataka, performing as a solo artist in various prestigious concerts granted ˇˇby the state government and other music festivals locality ˇˇand the distinct . His dream is to bind the hearts of people all over the world with the omnipotence of music.ˇˇ
